Bodywork & Massage

Royal Thai Medicinal Bodywork™

Thai bodywork (massage) is a synergy of facilitated yoga, acupressure, massage, and meditation. Unlike modern massage techniques that are performed nude on a massage table, you receive Thai bodywork on a thick floor mat wearing light clothing.  While lying still, the practitioner moves the passive body through a choreographed sequence of stretches, twist, palm presses, point presses, and rubs. All this while gently and continuously rocking your body, anchoring you in a predictable ocean of inner security, peace and abandon.

Thai bodywork has many benefits:

  • relieves stiffness
  • relaxes tight muscles and fascia
  • improves circulation
  • enhances detoxification process
  • helps to balance the chi
  • reduces stress and anxiety
  • increases mobility and range of motion
  • improves posture
  • clears and calms the mind
  • improves stamina and vitality
  • improves athletic performance

I had fallen a few times in the past and broken some bones; I used to limp when I got tired, and my friends tell me they notice I don’t do that any more.
